The Housing Help Caseworker assists singles and/or families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access and maintain housing. The Caseworker provides intervention, information and support to obtain and stabilize appropriate housing.
Through advocacy, the Caseworker will work with referred clients to access additional community support services, liaise between landlords and tenants to resolve conflict, and address housing related concerns such as, but not limited to: hoarding, safety concerns, family conflict, and displaced individuals.
The Caseworker is also available to assist clients with developing budgets to determine affordable accommodation costs, assist homeless individuals and/or families secure temporary accommodations and complete applications, referrals, etc.
