2010 Planning Approvals Office Annual Report

· 188 application for consent were received by the Land Division Committee – this was an increase of 32 over the number received in 2009;

· The average number of applications received per month is 16, with April, May and December being the most active;

· Total number of new lots created by consent was 139;

· County Council received 4 applications for subdivision – 3 within designated ‘Settlement Areas” and 1 in the ‘Rural Area”;

· The total number of new lots located within designated ‘Settlement Areas’ was 507 and the total number of new lots located in the ‘rural area’ was 164.
