In 2006, the Planning Approvals Office completed the following:

• The Land Division Committee made decisions for 208 consent applications; 167 decisions (80.29%) were made within the targeted timeframe of 90 days.
• County Council made decisions for 11 subdivision/condominium applications; six decisions (54.55%) were made within the targeted timeframe of 180 days. The average time to make a decision was 207 days.
• 137 new lots were created by the consent process; 29 of these lots were located in designated settlement areas.
• 139 new lots, blocks and/or units were created by the subdivision or condominium process; all of these lots, blocks and/or units were located in designated settlement areas.
